An authentic Italian place with delicious flavors. My friends were visiting in town, with 2 kids, so we needed to pick a kid friendly place. Found all of the great reviews and knew we had to check this place out for dinner. We were seated immediately and the place got packed soon- that's a great sign! The kids split a pasta and we adults got a few times to share. Ceasar salad- great flavors to start, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I loved the thick chunks of parmesan on the salad. Fettuccini Leonard- usually I don't like a cream sauce but this was a bit of a pink sauce. Great flavors, loved the burst of tomatos when they popped. Burrata/prosciutto pizza- amazing! Waiter suggested we add sauce & arugula and so glad we did. This was the highlight of the meal! Waiters came by often to refill water. Will 100% come back if I'm in the area.

Super lovely waiter Omar Amazing pasta, had the Arbitta open late 11 Weekdays in the heart of Little Italy They don't take Apple Pay, heads up Enjoy!

I came here for a lunch with a friend Sunday April 21, 2024...and have not been able to write a review until now (Yelp blocked any new reviews to be posted about this restaurant).. nor could I at least write a draft. :( I'm going to write on what I can remember about my experience and update it as I go. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our server was such a gentleman and refilled our water before we can even ask. The decor was cool, in an eclectic kind of way. The restaurant didn't have many patrons aside us, but, still hard to move through (to go to the bathroom, for example). This being due to the restaurant being small and the tables being kind of close together. The restroom was clean. I can't remember the name of the spicy pasta dish that I had (I will update my review once I find out), it was spicy and delicious. I did have to sprinkle some red pepper flakes for some extra spice (Y'all already know how I love my food super spicy!!). My friend also enjoyed her pasta dish, and her young nephew loved his pizza. Which they do not serve kid sized pizza here. Parents beware! LOL There's another Mona Lisa Italian restaurant further down the street (I had no idea and neither did my friend). We had some confusion figuring which one to meet up because of it. Luckily my friend didn't have to walk far to get over here. This Mona Lisa is located in the North Beach neighborhood of SF, on Columbus and Vallejo (?). Can't remember if street parking is available (probably was full at the time). There are two parking garages located around the corner on Vallejo. Thanks for the yummy food and great service! :)

Solid staple in north beach Expect a line Expect a menu longer than the phone book Expect to want to come back!

I can't believe it took me so long to try this place! Food - Delicious homemade pasta! Service - Great, friendly, attentive, and my water glass was never empty. Ambiance - Inside was bigger than I expected with many many tables that can convert to even larger tables by combining them. - It was a bit dark inside. - So many things to look at on the wall with statues, celebrity photos, and art! I need to come back to try more!

Walked in on a Thursday evening with a group of three. We were able to be seated right away, but it was nice to have the option of making a reservation online. Our server was friendly and personable. He made a good recommendation - pappardelle with a tomato sauce and ground meat. It ended up being the best thing we had all night! The pumpkin ravioli was a little too salty. And the carbonara was good - get it with the homemade spaghetti! I absolutely loved the decor of the place! All of the quirky pieces of art. The servers also had Mona Lisa ties.

Fast and very friendly service! Our server was attentive the whole time and he kept our drinks filled up. We came with a small group of people and we ordered two margarita pizzas. The pizzas were delicious and they were cooked to perfection. The inside of the restaurant is very unique and cool. They have so many trinkets, pictures, and memorabilia along the walls. The chandeliers were by far my favorite! Definitely check this place out!
